HP Junior Statesmen of America
Junior Statesmen of America is a national club with smaller chapters at high schools with students that wish to become more involved in politics and community affairs. The Highland Park branch is called HP Junior Statesmen of America. This club is made for students in order to achieve high standards of citizenship, improve our understanding of democratic processes, develop responsibility in the individual, and promote involvement in community affairs.

Meeting Schedule:
There will be a meeting once a month on Tuesday's starting at 3:45 p.m. The dates of the meeting are subject to change, but officers are active in posting on our Facebook page and placing flyers around the school with the dates of the meetings.

Application Process: All students that attend Highland Park High School and have an interest in politics and debate or wish to become more involved in community affairs are welcome to join! New applicants are accepted at the beginning of the school year and you can sign up during club fair.

Membership Requirements: In order to remain an active member, a student must go to one meeting per semester (held every month on Tuesday's after school) and pay the $10 membership fee.

$10 plus extra for a t-shirt
