Students for the Advancement of the Humanities
The Students for the Advancement of the Humanities club is dedicated to bettering high schoolers' liberal arts education at Highland Park High School as well as throughout the city of Dallas. This club is perfect for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the liberal arts or humanities. Activities will include recommended reading, book drives for underprivileged areas and speakers with careers in the humanities.

Meeting Schedule:
Once a Month (Every Second Tuesday at 6:30)

Application Process: New applicants will be accepted at the beginning of the fall and of the spring semesters. There are no teacher recommendations required nor is there a certain GPA necessary to apply.

Membership Requirements: In order to maintain in good standing, members should attend at least one meeting a semester and participate in at least one book drive a year.

Membership Fees:
Recommended donation of $10

Community Service Requirements:
Participation in one book drive a year (they will occur once a semester).
