Throughout the course, students design, build, and code projects while learning programming concepts, data analysis, and digital citizenship. Students collaborate with peers to solve challenges, strengthen critical thinking skills, and develop an understanding of how technology can be used to create solutions for real-world problems.
Students may also have opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications in HTML/CSS and JavaScript while exploring future pathways in computer science, programming, and technology-related careers.

Computer Science II

AP Computer Science Principles
AP Computer Science Principles introduces students to the broad foundations of computing through programming, data analysis, algorithms, and the impact of technology on society. Students explore how computing drives innovation while developing problem-solving and computational thinking skills through hands-on learning experiences.
Throughout the course, students learn programming concepts, analyze data, study internet and networking systems, and create solutions through collaborative projects. Students explore emerging topics such as artificial intelligence and real-world applications of computer science while preparing for the AP exam and future technology pathways.
Students may also have opportunities to earn an industry-recognized Python certification while strengthening coding and technology skills.

AP Computer Science A

Throughout the course, students build coding skills through real-world programming projects and explore advanced concepts including algorithms, software development, and object-oriented programming. Students prepare for the AP exam while developing skills that support future studies and careers in computer science and technology.
Students may also have opportunities to earn industry-recognized Java certifications and gain practical experience through advanced programming applications.

Computer Science III
