Robotics I

Robotics I introduces students to engineering, programming, and design through hands-on experiences that combine creativity with real-world problem solving. Students explore robotics concepts while learning how technology, coding, and engineering work together to create innovative solutions.

Throughout the course, students design, build, and test robotic systems using motors, sensors, and specialized components. Students gain experience with tools and platforms such as Autodesk Fusion 360, Python, VEX VR, and Robot C while applying concepts in automation, programming, physics, and engineering design. Students collaborate in teams to solve challenges, refine prototypes, and showcase their work through practical applications.

Students may also have opportunities to earn industry-recognized robotics and design credentials while exploring future pathways in engineering, robotics, automation, and technology-related careers.

Robotics II

Robotics II builds upon foundational robotics and engineering concepts while expanding students' skills in design, programming, automation, and emerging technologies. Through advanced hands-on projects, students apply engineering principles and computational thinking to increasingly complex challenges and real-world scenarios.

Throughout the course, students explore concepts including artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation systems, and advanced robotics design. Students strengthen their skills through coding, design iteration, competition experiences, and collaborative team projects while applying the engineering design process from concept to completion.

Students continue building career-ready technical and problem-solving skills while exploring pathways in robotics, engineering, computer science, automation, and technology industries.
