Social Studies

The HPHS Social Studies Department encourages students to think critically about history, government, economics, geography, and global perspectives through rigorous coursework and meaningful discussion.

Through courses ranging from World Geography and U.S. History to AP and advanced social studies pathways, students develop analytical, research, communication, and civic leadership skills that prepare them to become informed and engaged citizens in an ever-changing world.
