Tennis team wins record 20th state championship - and its 4th in a row

The Highland Park Scots tennis team defeated San Antonio Alamo Heights 10-1 on Thursday to capture the 2019 UIL 5A team tennis state championship. It is HP's 20th time to win the state title, its fourth in a row and its 32nd consecutive trip to the state tournament. The Scots defeated Georgetown High School 12-2 in the semifinal round earlier in the day to advance to the state finals. Click here for complete results from the final round.
