Model United Nations
Purpose: The purpose of the Model UN is to introduce students to international affairs, politics, and diplomacy. This is done by offering students an opportunity to research, debate, and learn more about the world to prepare for conferences and committees in which students will represent Highland Park High School. In these conferences and committees, students will grow their speech and debate skills, as well as learn how to compromise and work for a common goal by participating in discourse on international affairs and topics that are discussed in the United Nations.
