Applied Science Club

About Us: The purpose of the Highland Park Applied Science Club is to promote learning and experimentation in the fields of Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering in a project-based environment. Previous projects include building a cathode ray tube, constructing catapults, creating a Lorentz force marble launcher, and launching 3D printed Carbon Dioxide rockets. 
 
 
Join Us: 
  • Attendance at meetings, while not mandatory, is crucial to the success of projects and experiments. 
  • Membership is open to all HPHS students. Safety waiver required.
  • Club dues are 20$ (at any point in the year). 
  • New members can join at any time.
 
Meet Us: Meetings every Wednesday 3:30-4:30 in Mr. Chuang's Lab. Occasional off-campus meetings.
