City Square

Purpose: The purpose of City Square Club at HPHS is to allow students to assist those in need of financial and mental aid. At City Square, they don’t have clients, but they have neighbors. The organization is fueled by a faith that compels everyone to love, serve, and suffer with some of God's favorite people - "love your neighbor as yourself," (Mark 12:31). We will create a club that successfully depicts City Square and what it represents. CitySquare offers a comprehensive array of social services that address four key areas related to the persistence of poverty: hunger, health, housing, and hope.

Leadership:

Presidents - Kennedy Foy and Medora (Lawler) Carpenter
The presidents will organize club meetings and contact the leadership at the City Square organization. They will also oversee all of the other positions and their responsibilities and assign the officer positions.
Vice President - Chris Taubenfeld
The vice president works with the presidents to set up meetings, activities, and service opportunities. They will also be in charge of service hour approval.
Secretary - Shelby Sides, Avery Turner
The secretary facilitates the involvement of the members and helps the president make decisions.
Treasurers - Lewis Montgomery, Chloe Ching
The treasurer must gather and organize the fundraisers and the money needed for events.
Member Recruits - Whit Basso, Anne Blanche Peacock
The member recruiter is responsible for getting new people to join the club and introduce them to the organization.
Senior Representatives - Kendall Evans, Reagan Hoctor, Shelby Burke, Meryl Katz, Kate Krejs

The Senior Representatives help recruit members in their grade and spread the word to be involved in the club.
Junior Representatives - Joan Henson, Georgia Graves
The Junior Representatives help recruit members in their grade and spread the word to be involved in the club.
Sophomore Representatives - Ava Powers, Mary Jayne Roberts
The Sophomore Representatives help recruit members in their grade and spread the word to be involved in the club.

Freshman Representatives - Jane Anne Stockton and Lucy Montgomery

The Freshman Representatives help recruit members in their grade and spread the word to be involved in the club.
