2025-2026 Information

 

Student Parking

Seniors and Juniors will have the opportunity to purchase parking during BSSU (Back to School Sign-Up) in July 2025. Only students with a current, valid driver’s license may be issued a parking space.

Driver’s license photos, along with vehicle information, will be uploaded during the BSSU process.  Sophomores and freshmen are not allowed to park anywhere on HPHS or HPISD property. Permission to park on the HPHS campus is granted subject to all rules and regulations of the School District.

 
Students are responsible for adhering to the full parking expectations which can be found in the Kiltie.
The information below is not exhaustive. Information is subject to change; continue to check back for any updates.
 
  • School Parking is enforced from 6:00 am- 3:30 pm on school days.
  • Current parking stickers must be displayed on the back window, and visible to Security and Administration (outdated stickers must be removed)
  • Please remember that student parking is a privilege, and not a right.
  • Violations:
    • Any student parking in any space or area that has not been assigned to them by HPHS administration will be towed at owner’s expense on the second violation.
    • Continuous parking violations could result in disciplinary action taken by the student’s assistant principal
  • Visitor/ volunteer parking is reserved and designated for visitors and volunteers only; it is not for student use.
  • Handicapped spaces (garage and street) are reserved for those issued a state handicapped sticker/ placard/ license plate. These parking violations are subject for immediate tow at owner's expense.

Students may not park in any of the following parking areas: HPISD Adminitration Building, Annex, Athletics, Clements, Education Foundation, Facilities, Highlander Stadium, Indoor facility, Scot Shoop, and Seay Tennis Center, as well as any space not assigned to them by HPHS administration in the Garage, H-Lots, and numbered spaces on Westchester, Druid, Emerson, and Douglas.

 
Violations of HPHS parking guidelines are subject to disciplinary consequences and could lead to the loss of student parking privileges for the year as well as having the student’s vehicle towed at their expense.
 

What to do if someone is in your space:*

  • Make note of the license plate information
  • Park in a visitor/ volunteer space in the garage only.
  • Immediately report the offender’s license plate information through the link below.
  • You must be logged into your HPISD google account to access the form

How to request a parking space: *Form will open after 3pm on Friday, August 8th*

Parking is requested through Back to School Sign Up (BSSU) prior to the start of the school year.

If your Senior or Junior needs to request a space after BSSU has closed, please complete the form below. Students will be emailed when a space come available.

Please complete the 2025-2026 Parking Request Form. You will need the following information when making the request:

  • Student Name
  • Grade Level
  • ID#
  • A picture of student's current driver’s license
  • License plate number
  • Vehicle information: Make, Model, Color and Year

How to request an alternate parking space:

If you have been issued a space, but would like to request a different one, please complete the link below.  These requests are dependent on space availability. Students will be emailed if and when their requested space comes available.
