Meagan Meredith

I feel so privileged to be a member of the HPHS staff! I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in journalism, and I reported for a local Florida newspaper prior to beginning my career in education. I started my teaching career in Plano ISD, where I taught English II and advised the yearbook for two years, before joining the HPHS staff in 2019, where I taught Standard English I and II and advised the newspaper before becoming 504 Coordinator in 2022. I completed my Master's in Educational Leadership in 2022 from SMU, and I am working on my Ph.D in Educational Leadership and Policy from UTA. Without a doubt, my favorite part of being in education is the ability to push students to accomplish their individual goals and the relationships I get to build with them along the way, and I love doing that with the students at HPHS!
