I started my teaching career in 2016 after receiving my MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Baylor University. Since receiving my masters I have taught social studies and coached soccer in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala as well as Madison, Wisconsin. In addition to teaching and coaching, I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where my research focuses on how visual and performative art can help students communicate across ideological differences in the classroom. I graduated from Highland Park in 2011 and am excited to be back teaching and coaching at my alma mater! Go Scots!!
