I am extremely proud to be a part of the HPHS Scot staff! I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Kinesiology. I began my teaching career in 2013 at Grand Saline High School as a Biology teacher and a coach for Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. In 2014, I moved to the Houston area to teach Chemistry and coach Volleyball and Softball for three years at Texas City High School. I taught Chemistry and coached Volleyball and Track at Ranchview High School for the three years prior to starting my journey with HPHS in 2020. I have always believed that, as teachers, we are molding our students to be amazing members of society when they are adults. I tend to incorporate real world connections to lessons, tasks, and challenges that they may face in and out of the classroom so they are better equipped when they leave school. My passion in teaching comes from building relationships while inspiring them to reach high expectations and helping them along their journey.
