Jill Dalton

My name is Jill Dalton and I'm so happy to be working in the HPHS Counseling Office!  I'm new to the district as an employee for the 2021-2022 school year, but have been around for a long time as a parent. We moved to Dallas in 2013 where my kids started at UP Elementary in grades 2 and 4. Fast forward to today and they are in grades 10 and 12 - I'm not quite sure how that happened. I have a Bachelor's degree in Finance from New Mexico State University and have spent many years volunteering across the district. I previously served as HP Arts President, HP Arts Vice-President and HP Arts Programs Chairperson. I also spent several years as the treasurer of both the middle school and high school band booster clubs.  I love to travel with my family and when I'm not working, I'm creating!  I love sewing, knitting and a variety of other crafty projects. I'm thrilled to be working with our amazing team of counselors to make high school and college preparation go smoothly for all of our students.  Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions anytime!
