Yvette Hightower

I grew up in New Orleans and earned my Bachelor of Architecture degree from LSU.  I worked for Humphreys & Partners Architects in multifamily production for 17+ years. I then earned my Masters of Teaching from TWU.
I am happily married to my college sweetheart and have a daughter who graduated from OU in finance and a son majoring in architecture at UT Austin.
I love teaching Environmental Architecture! I believe in hands-on authentic collaborative learning. As the first environmental architect Frank Lloyd Wright said, "An idea is salvation by imagination." I look forward to exploring the innovative field of environmental architecture with students, collaborating with expert professionals, and sharing my love of buildings.
