Thank you for visiting! It is my privilege to walk along our seniors as they navigate the college admissions process, specifically as it pertains to their documents.
I am particularly honored to be in this position because it is a homecoming for me. I am a proud graduate of Highland Park High School. From here, my studies took me to the University of Puget Sound where I received my bachelors degree in Psychology. I then returned to my favorite state to pursue my masters degree in Counselor Education from the University of Texas.
I began my school counseling career as an academic counselor at Hinds Community College in Pearl, MS. My 'big break' came when I accepted my dream job at Brandon High School in Brandon, MS. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed my 2.5 years as a high school counselor, when we moved home to Texas and found out that we were expecting our first son, I decided to stay home for a bit. As he got older, I was anxious to return to the world of high school counseling and found the perfect fit at Highland Park as the College Admissions Coordinator. I have dreamed about working in this office since I was a sophomore here, so this is truly a dream come true!
Please let me know if I can be of any service to you as you venture through the college process.
