Angela Glass, BSN, RN

Angela Glass, B.S.N., R.N. has been Lead Nurse at Highland Park Independent School District since 2016. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and frequently attends Nursing Conferences around the United States to continue education in the Nursing field.  She formerly worked at Baylor Scott and White as a Charge Nurse on a Telemetry Unit and as a 'float' nurse in Emergency, Day Surgery, and Outpatient Services. 

Angela feels that nursing is one of her true callings in life and enjoys providing care for the students and staff of HPISD.  In addition, she is a HPISD parent and serves on our District's School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC).  She is a certified CPR instructor through the American Red Cross and a member of the Texas Association of School Nurses and the National Association of School Nurses.  In the past, she has volunteered for CASA, Meals on Wheels and Ellis County Rainbow Room, as well as, serving as a Board Member for Meals on Wheels, Ellis County Rainbow Room and the Women’s Resource Center.

Angela has been married to the love of her life, Bobby Glass, for 31 years and they have three beautiful children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors and spending time with her family at their ranch in Coryell County.
