I am honored to be the first person our new families may have contact with when reaching out to HPHS for information regarding Admissions and Enrollment of their student at Highland Park High School.  This is my 10th year at HPHS in this position and my 14th year in Education as I was previously at Coppell High School for 4 years also handling enrollments.  Each year I enjoy meeting new families from other Texas regions, other states, and international families from around the world who have decided to make the Park Cities their home.

In addition to enrollments, I also handle Residency for HPHS families.  Our HPISD families who are residents and taxpayers continually voice their appreciation that HPISD works diligently to follow School Board policy in order to ensure that every student who attends our schools resides within our attendance boundaries. To that end, we require every family to prove their residency in HPISD annually in August before school starts, as well as upon enrollment in our schools. 

For current HPISD parents who's contact information changes during the school year, please be advised that Texas has a new State Law (SB 746) that went into effect September 1, 2021, requiring parents to provide Texas schools their change information within two weeks of when the change takes place.  The parent’s contact information includes address, phone number, and email address.

If you are the parent/guardian of a current HPHS student and have Residency questions or need to change your address in Skyward, or if you are a prospective HPISD family with questions regarding residency requirements please feel free to email me at [email protected] or call me at (214) 780-3740.  Current HPISD families who have a Change of Address should email me copies of their three new proof of residency documents (scanned into a pdf file) as soon as possible after moving.  

For our current HPHS students I assist in coordinating our Off Campus Course and CBE program.  Students and Parents can find information on the requirements of these programs by clicking on the Off Campus Courses & CBE link found on the Counseling Department webpage which provides copies of the Applications which require Counselor approval prior to ordering an Off Campus Course or CBE, as well as a helpful supplemental information sheet with instructions on how to order a Course or CBE from TTU K-12.  Please feel free to call me with any questions regarding our Off Campus Course and CBE program or questions related to TTU K-12.
