Wellness Check Up

HPHS conducts a Mental Health Wellness Check-up, Youth Check, (formerly known as Teen Screen) annually for our ninth grade students. This is a confidential health screening program developed by Columbia University to identify teens who may suffer from depression, anxiety, and/or other emotional health issues and, if necessary, to help parents connect their children with professional health resources.

Parents of 9th-grade students will receive an informational letter and permission form in early November. Please note: This program is licensed to the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas. Please click here for more information.

Please contact Mrs. Armer for more information at [email protected] or (214) 780-3744.
