Hello Scots,
Welcome to the new school year! We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow for the first day of
school. I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful summer vacation. We are excited to get back
to school and begin the fall semester. At Highland Park High School our motto states, “Enter to
Learn, Go Forth to Serve.” Let’s take these first few days and weeks of the semester to focus on
that endeavor. We have an incredible opportunity to begin the year with positivity, focus, and a
sense of purpose and determination. I am proud to be a part of this school community, and I am
