On average, 96% of Highland Park High School graduates matriculate to institutes of higher education. Students focus on community service with service hours totaling more than 59,000 hours in the 2024-2025 school year. HPHS has won a total of 123 state team UIL titles in athletics and academics since the school opened 100 years ago in 1922 and students have earned 685 Advanced Placement Scholar Awards.
On Wednesday, November 12, Highland Park High School celebrated 22 student-athletes who signed to continue their academic and athletic careers at universities across the country.
The Lady Scots Volleyball team made Highland Park history on November 22 by winning the program’s first-ever Class 5A Division I State Championship, sweeping A&M Consolidated 3–0 in the finals.
