Enrolling at HPHS
Enrollment at Highland Park High School is a two-step process. Click Here to print an enrollment checklist prior to beginning the following steps.
Complete the online New Student Enrollment Application (via your parent Skyward account).
New Skyward User: If you are new to the district and do not have a Skyward account, Click Here To Begin The New Student Enrollment Process.
Returning Skyward User: If you have a Skyward account and are enrolling a new student (example: you have a student in HPISD, and are enrolling an incoming freshman), Click Here To Begin The New Student Enrollment Process.
*If you have a Skyward account and are enrolling a student who previously attended HPISD schools, withdrew, and is returning to HPISD, you may need to contact the HP school your student will be attending if your Skyward account needs to be reactivated.
Students currently enrolled in HPISD do not need to complete the online enrollment application to move on to a higher grade or new campus. If you have any questions about your student moving from one grade to the next, please contact your child's campus. Please be sure to complete Back to School Sign Up and Annual Proof of Residency each school year in August.
Print a copy of the Enrollment Checklist, from the link at the top of this page, and complete the top section of the form then collect all the documents listed and make a copy of each document that the school can keep for your student’s records. Once you have all documents collected, with a checkmark by each item, contact Tammy Boetsch, who handles New Student Enrollments for the high school, at (214) 780-3740 to schedule an appointment to turn in your new student’s paperwork. The Checklist should be your enrollment packet cover sheet with each of the documents in the order they appear on the checklist. Only complete packets will be accepted. If there are any documents missing we cannot accept the packet and your student’s enrollment may be delayed.
The online enrollment application must be completed and copies of all documents required for enrollment must be turned in before an appointment can be scheduled.
Early enrollment appointments for the 2019-20 school year will be available during the following dates:
Early Spring Enrollments: Thursday, April 25 & Friday, April 26, 2019
Early Summer Enrollments: Wednesday, May 22 & Thursday, May 23, 2019
Early August Enrollments Beginning Monday, August 19, 2019
Enrollments are available by appointment only.
No walk-in appointments can be accommodated.
The first day of school will be Thursday, August 22, 2019
