The Scots football team defeated New Caney 45-13 in the bi-district round of the UIL 5A Division 1 playoffs Nov. 12, and will advance to play Frisco Wakeland in the area round Friday, Nov. 19. HP's season record is now 10-1, and the Scots are one of only 32 teams remaining in 5A D1. Click here for the playoff bracket.
Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. at Allen Eagle Stadium. Advance tickets are available online for $6 for students and $10 for adults through Thursday, Nov. 18. All tickets are general admission, and will be $10 on game day, online or at the gate. Tickets will not be sold at the HPISD Athletic Office.
Parking will be $5 per car, payable on site with cash only. Parking lots will open at 4 p.m. and the stadium doors will open at 5:30 p.m. HP is the home team, and fans will sit on the west side.
"We very much appreciate the awesome attendance and support from the community last Friday at Highlander," HPISD Athletic Director Johnny Ringo said. "The huge Highland Park crowd definitely inspired our Scots to play a great game. We need the same great HP crowd we have had all season this Friday in Allen to support the Scots in their next round.
