HP Boys lacrosse program is supporting VNA Meals on Wheels Pet Care Program with the purchase and delivery of small bags of cat and dog food for the pets of senior citizens in our community. You can help by purchasing directly from VNA’s Amazon Wish List and your donation will be shipped directly to VNA. (Please use the link or the QR code on the flyer below.) Several lacrosse players will be helping VNA sort your donation onsite in May.
Pet ownership can be a tremendous benefit for the elderly, particularly for those who live alone. Pets increase social interaction and alleviate loneliness, and some seniors need a little extra help to keep their animal companions happy and healthy.
