Profile
I joined the faculty at HPHS in the 2018-19 school year. I taught high school math courses at Mount Pleasant High School in East Texas from 2003-2018. At Mount Pleasant High School I enjoyed coaching UIL Math, Calculator Applications, and Number Sense and had the privilege to coach a couple of state championship teams and a couple of state champion individuals. I sponsor the UIL math events at HPHS and the Math team won state in 2019, 2021, and 2022. The Number Sense team won state in 2019 and 2021. I completed my bachelor's degree in Math and Physics and my master's degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in Math both from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I enjoy watching sports and am looking forward to supporting HPHS athletics and other extracurricular activities.
