Michael Molenaar

After starting my teaching career in the Houston area in 2015, I am honored and excited to have this opportunity to teach World Geography at HPHS. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2014 with a BA in Political Science. My educational philosophy is conceptually linked to the ideal that I am at my most effective as an educator when I facilitate student to student interactions. I strive to have my students delve into the relevancy of the curriculum as it relates to both their professional and personal lives, for both their present and future. My biggest goal is for my students to be prepared to enter and compete in the global workforce. I also want them to be prepared to be academically successful in college. I enjoy going to museums and watching movies.
