Teacher Profile
I taught high school for 13 years in San Diego, mainly 10th and various AP courses. I was very involved in the school, was an advisor to many clubs, even coached Cheerleading! It was here I received my Master’s in Education and Administration.
I spent the next 3 years teaching in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (brrr). It was an amazing and eye opening experience (so different from San Diego), but felt like home. I taught mainly AP English courses and really loved working with upper-classmen. Three years ago I relocated again, and this time landed at Highland Park High School! I am so happy to have found an amazing place in the HP community. I am teaching 10th graders, and the advisor to the HP Bagpipe (newspaper).
This is year 20 for me and so excited!
