Joseph Burnam
Profile
Joseph Burnam joined the faculty of Highland Park High School in 2024. A graduate of R.H. Poteet High School, Joseph earned a Bachelor's in Theatre - Directing from Abilene Christian University and is currently pursuing his M.Ed in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin University. He leads the Technical Theatre program, serves as the Technical Director for all HPHS theatrical productions, and is the campus sponsor for the UIL Theatrical Design Contest. During his time as an educator, he has succeeded in UIL One Act Play competitions, selection of State Thespian Officers, and Theatrical Design State Contest. His professional affiliations include Texas Educational Theatre Association, International Thespian Society - Texas Chapter, and Texas Theatre Adjudicators and Officials.
