Coach Beth Tallant
I am in my eighteenth year as an educator in the Texas school system. The 2024-2025 school year starts my ninth year at Highland Park High School. I am a special education teacher in the Algebra II and AMA classes and will also serve as the Special Education Department Chair. In addition to my teaching duties, I am the Varsity Assistant girls’ basketball coach.
Prior to Highland Park, I was at Sherman High School where I was the Head Girls Basketball Coach and Girls Athletic Coordinator for four years. During my time there, I taught Resource English classes, Algebra II, and Geometry.
I graduated from Denton High School and then went on to receive both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana where I played four years of basketball and served as a graduate assistant coach.
I am married and have three fur babies.
