The George Washington University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions is excited to announce its annual Your GW overnight fly-in program Saturday, September 21-Monday, September 23, 2019! Your GW is an exciting opportunity for rising high school seniors with a passion and dedication to thriving in a diverse and inclusive college community.
Spend your weekend hosted by a current GW student in one of our residence halls and experience firsthand what it’s like to live, learn, and thrive here in Washington D.C. You’ll have the chance to build relationships with current students, staff, and faculty through conversations around social justice, equity, and inclusion. Not to mention, you’ll also have the opportunity to strengthen your college application with the GW Admissions staff!
Your GW starts on Saturday evening, September 21, and continues through Monday evening, September 23. Accepted students are expected to participate in the full duration of the program and will stay overnight in a GW residence hall with a student host from the Dean’s Council for Multicultural Recruitment.
How to Apply
To apply for the program, students must complete the following by August 16:
1. Go to the Your GW webpage and complete the application (available July 1)
2. Send a high school transcript (an unofficial copy is acceptable) to [email protected].
All program applicants will be notified of their acceptance to “Your GW” by August 30.
