Highland Belles Name Service Officers, Award Recipients at Annual Banquet

 
 
The award-winning Highland Belles hosted their annual banquet on March 24th at Highland Park High School. The festive evening hosted by the Highland Belles Booster Club honored outgoing seniors, recognized new inductees of the National Dance Honor Society and Director’s Choice Belles, as well as announced annual Belle Awards and the new Service Officers for 2022-2023.
 
Director’s Choice
Throughout the year Highland Belles Director Shannon Phillips and Assistant Director Emily Sanchez recognize Belles whose practice and/or performance from the week prior stand out in a special way above all other Belles. Director’s Choice Belles may be recognized for work ethic, dance technique, outstanding memory skills or showmanship.

The following Belles were awarded Annual Belle Award recipients:
Most Improved: Anna Cooke
Best Attitude Sophomore: Addison Renfrow
Best Attitude Junior: Maron Shiller
Best Attitude Senior: Caroline Jernigan
Best Belle: Ava Tiffany

Service Officers
The 2022-2023 Service Officers were also announced. Five seniors are elected each year by the team and directors who work together to plan all social and service events throughout the year for the Belles.
