Student Password Reset October 11 and 12

You can change your password using a school P.C. in the library on the second floor, or you can do it at home using the portal. An announcement will be made in the cafeteria during lunch, to remind you to change your password. Chromebooks will be set up on the stage in the cafeteria, and you will have the option to change your password at that time. REMINDER: The password has to be at least 11 characters and it cannot be the same as your last 5 passwords.

 

On Campus on a PC

  • Log on to any school PC with your current password
  • You will be prompted to change your password
  • Create a new password with 11 characters
    • A mix of capital and lowercase letters, a number and a character are recommended
    • Another option is a short, unique phrase that is meaningful to you (not: this is my password)
 

Off Campus/Any Device

  • Go to the student portal at myhp.hpisd.org
  • Log on with your current password
  • You will be prompted to change your password
  • Create a new password with 11 characters

  • Another option is a short, unique phrase that is meaningful to you (not: this is my password)
