Teacher Profile

This year will be my 24th year of teaching, and my sixth year teaching at Highland Park High School.  I am currently teaching AP Biology and Honors TAG Biology.  I taught in Austin at Austin High for most of my career.  I received my bachelor's of science in biology from the University of Missouri - Springfield campus, and my master's degree in Secondary Science Education with a biological emphasis.  I have two boys - one is 26, and the other is 9 years old and attends Hyer Elementary.
