PROFILE:
I'll be going into my 10th year in the teaching profession, in which 9 of them have be in HPISD.  In Highland Park, I've been in many different positions to now being able to teach different Social Studies classes and coaching football and basketball.  I'm looking forward to teaching new students and developing a positive relationship this school year.

I attended Kent State University (Kent, Ohio) for my undergraduate degree.  Where I majored in History and played Division 1 football,  My goals and aspirations were to become a full time teacher and coach after graduation.  To fulfill this dream, I attended Southern Methodist University for my master's degree,  I majored in Secondary Education with Certification and graduated in 2016.  For my first year teaching, I taught World History at Newman Smith High School in CFBISD during the 2015-2016 school year.  The following year I would get the opportunity to work at HPISD at the middle school and later advance in different positions in the district.

I'm thankful to be in this position to develop and impact your children and to be able to work in a school district with tradition of excellence.  Looking forward to another memorable year.  Go Scots!
