Tiffany Syfert
AP Physics 1/ Honors Physics/ Engineering & Design (MAPs)
I have a bachelors in mathematics and a minor in physics from Southern Nazarene University. I completed my Masters in Physics from A&M Commerce in 2019. I first started teaching Algebra and Geometry, but after a couple of years I switched to physics and have been teaching various levels of Physics for over a decade. Growing up I loved to take things apart and figure out how they worked or why they were not working and attempt to make them work again.
I am happily married and have two wonderful boys, one is a 2023 graduate of Highland Park High School and the other is a senior (2025) attending Highland Park High School.
I believe every student is capable of success and understanding the content. What success looks like is different for each person, but ultimately it is about improving along the way and enjoying the journey. One of my favorite quotes is, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts!" I'm excited for the opportunity to grow and learn with your students.
