Marcy Wilson | Dyslexia Specialist
Marcy Wilson is the Dyslexia Specialist and 504 coordinator for students with dyslexia at Highland Park High School (HPHS). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Spanish from The University of North Texas. Her career began as a speech pathologist assistant, where she encountered students struggling with reading challenges. This sparked her interest in understanding and addressing these difficulties, leading her to pursue a Master of Education from Southern Methodist University. Marcy taught Kindergarten in a dual language setting before transitioning to her current role. She is also a certified academic language therapist and a licensed dyslexia therapist. Marcy is passionate about her work in Highland Park and enjoys life in Dallas with her husband and two dogs.
