Natalie Walker Brown
Profile
Natalie Walker joined the faculty of Highland Park High School in 2005. A graduate of Abilene High School, Natalie earned a Bachelors in Music Education from Texas Tech University and a Masters in Music Education from Southern Methodist University. She currently conducts the Lads & Lassies Varsity Mixed Choir, Park Version Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Concert Treble Choir, and is the Music Director for HPHS musical productions. Choirs under her direction have consistently earned Sweepstakes at UIL Concert and Sight-reading competitions and her students are selected yearly for the Texas All-State Choirs. Her professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Choral Directors Association, and American Choral Directors Association. Natalie currently serves as the Chair for the Fine Arts Department and as the District Fine Arts Director.
