Mindy J. McMinn

Profile

Mindy McMinn has served as Lead Counselor at HPHS since 2016 and is Counselor to students Wat-Z.  McMinn came to HPISD in 2012 from Coppell ISD, where she served as a counselor from 2005-2012. Before her years as a high school counselor, McMinn was a teacher at Hyde Park Baptist High School in Austin.

"I have greatly enjoyed these past years of being a part of the Highland Park family," McMinn said. "I am blessed with the opportunity to lead an amazing group of counselors who bring great expertise, intelligence, talent, and compassion to the relationships they build with their students and families. In addition, I greatly enjoy walking with my students on their journey through self-discovery and toward the pursuit of their post-high school hopes and dreams."
