Senior Internship Program
The Highland Park High School Senior Internship Program is a student-led exploration of and preparation for career and post-secondary interests. Senior Interns gain valuable real-world experience under the expert guidance of practicing professionals in a wide range of fields.

Prospective Students: The student application process for the 2024-25 academic year is now CLOSED. In January 2025, the application process will begin again. Details will be posted here and shared via morning announcements.

HOW TO APPLY (2025-26)
Attend an informational meeting during the first 20 minutes of each lunch - January TBD, 2025 (11am, 12pm, 12:55pm) in SC228 or virtually on January TBD, 2025 (7pm). For the virtual meeting, sign in using a student Google account. Meet.google.com. Code "sip25". Following the meeting, apply at https://tinyurl.com/applytointernhere no later than March 1, 2025.
DAILY EXPERIENCE
5-10% on-campus training in classroom
90-95% off-campus at approved internships
FOCUS AREA
Students may propose an internship in any field that aligns with their future goals. Although it is helpful for students to enter the program with a potential internship in mind, it is not required.

*Students enrolled in one period have the same weekly hour requirement as those enrolled for two periods. Additional time outside the school day will be required for one-period students.
