Rena Bowden
Teacher Profile
I joined Highland Park ISD in 2020, and it has been an incredible honor to be part of the HP community!
As the MIT Department Chair, my mission is to empower students with the skills they need to thrive in our ever-evolving digital world. I am passionate about creating and implementing innovative curricula, building meaningful connections, and fostering a love for learning through the use of cutting-edge technology.
Before transitioning to education, I worked in the financial industry. I earned an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas, specializing in equity trading and compliance, and held Series 7, Series 63, and Series 24 licenses.
Engaging with young, creative, and curious minds is both a challenge and a joy. I’m excited to continue making a positive impact in our students' lives as we grow and learn together!
